Meet The Team

Dedicated. Data-driven. Digital Marketing.

Stuart Dunbabin

Director & Founder

I started out my career as a graphic designer but was always a tech geek at heart. When I discovered digital marketing in my early 20s it was everything I enjoyed! Tech, creative and data all combined into one field… dreams do come true!

Since then I’ve been obsessed, particularly with paid social, of which I’ve had the amazing opportunity to work directly alongside Facebook, Snapchat and Twitter. Finding incremental gains for my clients is what drives me to wake up at 6AM every morning!

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

A long walk in the country under the summer sun with my partner Katie and my dog Buddy, finishing up at a local country pub with a beer in hand watching the sunset! – That’s life!

FAVOURITE MUSIC ARTIST?

Anything midwest emo is my happy place, or should I say somber place? Bands like The Wonder Years, Manchester Orchestra and Have Mercy are on constant shuffle on my playlist.

FAVOURITE DRINK?

If it’s a special ocassion or we’re somewhere #boujee then a whisky sour cocktail. If we’re just casual drinking then an ice cold Estrella or Moretti is my go to drink… hint, hint if anyone wants to buy me one.

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE?

You won’t always choose the right path but you have to keep pushing ahead anyway. If you’re wrong then you learn it was the wrong path, you can turn around and push ahead on the right path. If you never push ahead you’ll never know.

Matt Harrop

Marketing Executive & Designer

I’ve worked in digital marketing for 5 years now and the main aspect of the industry that I enjoy is the constant change it goes through. Whether it be social media standards and platform/app changes or the ever changing best practices in how to design your creative content, I constantly learn something new every day.

Working agency side is something that I had never done before joining Ditly. However, the difference in clients, with what they sell/offer or how they represent themselves through their brand guidelines, each and every day is different which is exciting!

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

I’m pretty much your generic geek. I Spend a lot of time on my PC, either gaming, live streaming, watching live streams or listening to music. When I’m not glued to my computer screen, I also enjoy working out at the gym (lifting heavy things, not running on treadmills) and watching rugby league.

FAVOURITE MUSIC ARTIST?

I listen to a very wide range of genres of music, usually decided by what type of mood I’m in that day. Because of this, I don’t have 1 particular artist who I would say is my favourite, more I have a group of artists that I like to listen to in each genre.

FAVOURITE DRINK?

I do enjoy a Gin & Lemonade (also partial to a WKD on a night out ????) If we’re talking soft drinks, I’m going to have to go with… Fanta Fruit Twist!

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE?

Don’t focus on your end goal. Spend all your time and energy on the small steps to your goal, this way you won’t get bogged down. You’ll just enjoy the successes of completing the smaller steps.

Phoebe Bird

Marketing Assistant

Ever since I first started at Ditly, I felt part of the team and very quickly fell in love with digital marketing!

I love how every day is different and I’m constantly learning new things as they’re ever changing. Being able to work with a variety of clients always keeps things new and fresh and two days really are never the same! I particularly like working in paid social as it’s so rewarding to be able to see the impact that the ads we build have on our clients’ sales.

WHAT ARE YOUR HOBBIES?

Travel is a huge passion of mine! I love learning about other cultures and enjoy watching TV and films in other languages as well as listening to foreign music. I also enjoy reading – my favourite author is Paulo Coelho.

FAVOURITE MUSIC ARTIST?

I really love Korean music from bands like Ateez, Stray Kids and of course, BTS! I also love German, Albanian and Italian music! As long as the music is good, I don’t need to speak the language to enjoy it.

FAVOURITE DRINK?

Gin for the win, of course! I just love trying all the different flavours! Some of my favourite flavours to date would probably include; melon, tea, gooseberry and pomegranate & rose. During the week, however, I love a good fruit smoothie!

BEST PIECE OF ADVICE?

You’ll never miss anything that’s meant for you, so just try to focus on and enjoy the present rather than constantly worrying about the future and thinking about things that happened in the past.
