Client Brief Explained
The client is an event photographer who uses their camera to produce high-quality photos and videos that are later loaded onto a PC running Windows XP and edited using Microsoft Paint. Once edited the pictures are printed onto high-quality 600dpi colour proofs. The client currently uses an HP Pavilion with 2GB RAM and 80GB of internal storage and requires access to the Internet and email. The client backs up their photos and videos to CD as their current internal drive is short of available storage space. They want to keep all photos and videos from the past 6 months on the computers internal drive before archiving to a separate storage medium. The client isn’t sure whether to choose a desktop system or laptop and so forth is looking for guidance and assistance. They have a maximum budget of £4,500 for the PC and any software and a budget of £4,000 for any additional hardware peripherals.
